We are currently seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers from a civil construction background to join our company to assist on a pipeline of projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. You will play a key role in the success of our projects by conducting technical discussion, long-term planning, budgeting, and finances, and liaising with the senior representatives of our clients.
Main duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Liaise with clients on tender queries, and design, construction and contract issues,
* Liaise and brief subcontractors on construction plans and delegate responsibilities,
* Review tender documents and preliminary designs for alternative solutions,
* Prepare cash flow budgets, costs and reconciliations,
* Proactively provide input in support in the maintenance of a safe workplace,
* Manage information and conduct appropriate monitoring and reporting duties.
Position requirements:
* Preferably a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar site-based role with experience in delivery of earthworks projects,
* Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar field,
* Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications,
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and a genuine concern for health, safety and the environment,
* Developed analytical and problem-solving skills while adhering to deadlines,
* Team player mindset with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships,
* Competent in the use of planning software such as MS Project, P6 and Pronto.
