Primary objective
Lead the successful delivery of initiatives within the Medicines Management and NT health Pharmacy Teams that enhance
workforce pipeline, implement revised pharmacy service model and develop, implement and monitor risk management plan. The
role is accountable for providing high-level project management, governance, stakeholder engagement and implementation
oversight to drive improvements in pharmacy service integration. This includes delivering measurable strategic, operational and
financial benefits and are aligned with NT Health and National Government frameworks.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead and manage delivery of complex project plans, ensuring compliance with NTG project governance frameworks.
2. Oversee project resources, schedules, risks and reporting to steering committees and executive stakeholders.
3. Manage procurement, contracts and vendor relationships for project deliverables.
4. Lead development of governance frameworks, policy documents, SOPs and reporting requirements.
5. Ensure collaboration with Directors of Pharmacy, Senior Clinical Leaders and General Managers to provide project support and
guidance to staff
6. Provide high-level briefings, business cases, project updates and submissions to executive
7. Embed change management and communication strategies to support adoption of new systems and service models.
8. Drive risk management, issue resolution and benefit realisation across all project phases.
9. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken
in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
10.Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Extensive experience in delivering large-scale, complex projects in a government, health or logistics setting.
2. Proven ability to manage budgets, procurement, contracts and service agreements to achieve efficiency and quality outcomes.
3. Demonstrated expertise in project management, governance, risk management, change management and benefits realisation.
4. Detailed knowledge of NT Health and Health Services Strategic plans, Service Delivery Agreements and National Health Agenda.
5. High level interpersonal and communication skills including the effective use of negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
6. Demonstrated leadership capability in managing multidisciplinary project teams and driving delivery in high-pressure
environments.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills including capacity to prepare executive briefings, business cases, and technical
reports.
8. Ability to work in a complex cross-cultural environment.
Desirable
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, health administration, or related fields.
