Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to install, maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Install and maintain mechanical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
3. Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and specifications to inform decision-making.
4. Perform precision measurements and alignments using specialized tools to guarantee accuracy.
5. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualified Fitter with 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and specialized equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality focus.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety.
* Ability to travel as required.
