About the Role
This is a career-enhancing opportunity for an Accountant to join a thriving professional services firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax and compliance work, as well as various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking ownership of tax and compliance work, along with other accounting duties.
* Staying up-to-date with changes in taxation law and accounting standards.
* Preparing client income tax returns, financial statements, and BAS/IAS returns accurately and on time.
Requirements
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in public practice.
* Knowledge of Australian taxation legislation.
* A track record in preparing financial statements and tax returns.
* Working towards (or already undertaking) CA/CPA qualification, backed by tertiary accounting studies.
* Strong communication skills, ability to work with clients, and thrive in a dynamic environment with prioritization and meeting deadlines.
