**Sterilising Technician**

Healthscope's Hobart Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Day Surgery Unit department.
Hobart Private Hospital is a 146-bed facility providing perioperative services in the specialties of general surgery, orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, colorectal, facio-maxillary, vascular, plastics, obstetric, breast and select paediatric surgeries, across five operating theatres, endoscopy suite and day surgery facility.
**Essential requirements**:
- Certificate 3 in Sterilisation
- Knowledge of A54187
- Knowledge and compliance of the Healthscope policies and ACORN, ANZCA and ACPAN standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Maintain staff competencies and skills
- Responsible for the cleaning, decontamination and sterilisation of reusable medical equipment
- Maintenance of all sterilisation trading records
