Frosting Specialist
About the Job:
The Frosting Specialist is a vital role within our bakery team. This individual will be responsible for creating high-quality cakes and consistently delivering exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow strict proprietary recipes and application methods to achieve precision and productivity goals.
- Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes with precision and speed.
- Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
- Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
- Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
- Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
- Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure high-quality standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, ensuring frosting supplies are prepared for the next shift, and wash equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
- Comply with all health and safety guidelines and policies, including adherence to dress code and personal hygiene standards.

Requirements:
- Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
- Must be able to perform repetitious tasks requiring precise movement of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Physical capacity to lift moderate to heavyweight items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to work on a fast-paced production schedule, and evaluate products, processes, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
- Discipline and attention to detail to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
