Animal Attendant Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Animal Attendant in Melbourne.
As an Animal Attendant, you will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of pets staying with us. This includes providing food, water, and general care, conducting health checks, and ensuring animal welfare.
* Provision of food, water, and general care for pets in our boarding facilities.
* Conducting regular health checks and ensuring animal welfare.
* Supervising and managing the behaviors of groups of dogs.
* Providing enrichment through structured play and activities.
* Cleaning and maintaining the facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Flexible availability between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
* Availability during school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter).
* Confident handling of dogs of all sizes and managing behaviors.
* Able to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail.
* Comfortable following routines and adhering to policies and procedures.
* Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
