The opportunity
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting our business growth and operational efficiency. This position serves as a right hand to the Business Director, managing the operational administration teams, as well as streamlining internal and external processes. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing administration staff across multiple locations whilst ensuring timely delivery of tasks, driving initiatives to simplify operations, measure operational efficiency, and optimise processes for future growth and success.
Key responsibilities
* Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, ensuring quality and consistency in adhering to operational materials and processes.
* Exhibit a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, contributing ideas and recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Assist with budget management and invoice reconciliation for operational expenses.
* Guide, coach and collaborate with teams and stakeholders to streamline operational processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve workflow and productivity.
* Implement digitisation and improvement of key processes across customer and employee lifecycle e.g. onboarding new starters and/ or clients.
* Assist with set up of new starters workstations and troubleshooting all programs and permissions for a smooth onboarding.
* Ensure key operational documents are kept up to date, including those that support onboarding of new team members such as the legal team induction documents, the legal team charter, team structure, etc.
* Find new ways to drive increased adoption of technology suite, particularly Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, HubSpot and LEAP
About you
* Previous experience in operations roles, preferably in a professional services environment leading or supervising a team.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to drive and lead a results-oriented and highly engaged team.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools.
* Full working rights to work in Australia.
