About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Professional to join our care team. As a Personal Support Professional, you will provide high-quality care to our Home Care clients, supporting their health, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Offer social support and transport, including shopping, outings, and medical appointments
* Support clients with mobility aids and personal equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, hoists, hearing aids)
* Assist clients with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitor client wellbeing and provide progress updates
* Attend team meetings and training as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent qualification
* Current Australian Federal Police Clearance certificate
* Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates
* NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Australian Open Driver's Licence
* Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.)
* Reliable, insured, and registered vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
* Smartphone with internet access
