About the role
Our Maintenance Officer at Warrawee aged care facility is responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the smooth operation of the facility through timely, efficient, and well-documented maintenance practices.
* Overseeing and acting on all maintenance and improvement work to maintain a safe and inviting environment.
* Managing preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance programs in an organised and proactive manner.
* Ensuring plant, fittings and equipment meet regulatory and accreditation compliance standards.
* Responding promptly to maintenance requests and documenting all works completed.
About you
You take pride in maintaining well-presented, compliant, and welcoming environments and understand the importance of timely, well-documented maintenance in an aged care setting. You work well both independently and as part of a team, using initiative to prioritise work while maintaining clear communication.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role (aged care experience desirable)
* Sound knowledge of maintenance compliance, equipment safety and accreditation standards
* The ability to organise workloads, meet deadlines and keep accurate maintenance records
* Basic computer skills and confidence using maintenance request systems
