Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with disability, focusing on improving their independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as a proactive attitude and interest in continually developing their skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
Requirements
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist
* Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
* A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
