We are currently seeking two experienced Senior Service Designers to join a high-impact legislative reform and service transformation program. These roles will play a critical part in translating legislative and policy changes into practical, user-centred service solutions that align with organisational strategy. The Role as a Senior Service Designer, you will quickly build a deep understanding of the organisation's strategic priorities, operational landscape, and stakeholder environment to deliver high-quality service design outcomes within agreed timeframes.
You will collaborate closely with the embedded Principal Service Design Specialist and the Criminal Procedure Legislative Review team to ensure service design initiatives align with legislative intent and organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine service blueprints, journey maps, and other service design artefacts.
Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform evidence-based design decisions.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions, including frontline staff.
Document current-state processes and co-design future-state service solutions.
Translate legislative and policy requirements into practical service design implications.
Contribute to high-quality design documentation, presentations, and governance materials to support executive decision-making.
About You You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in senior-level service design within complex or large-scale environments.
Strong capability in human-centred design, co-design methodologies, and workshop facilitation.
Experience working with legislative, policy, or regulatory reform initiatives.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
