Our Environmental Engagement team is looking for a passionate,self-motivated, hardworking, and experienced individual to join ourteam as Waste Education Officer. You are passionate about yourprofession and are excited about leading the City and our communityon their waste education journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering our WasteEducation and Engagement Plan. This includes developing,implementing, and evaluating community education and engagementacross a range of waste and recycling initiatives.

What can you bring to the team?
* Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline, Education, Sustainable Development, Communications or similar.
* Accreditation in community engagement, environmental education and/or behaviour change.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar position.
* Current unrestricted ‘C’ class national driver’s licence.
* Developed understanding of waste management and education, including behaviour change techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver waste education programs.
* Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and engage community.
The finer details
This full-time Level 5 position attracts a salary range of$83,427 - $88,868 gross per annum dependent on qualifications andexperience.
