Role Description:
We are looking for a commission-based sales agent to service the Victorian territory with a focus on the Melbourne metropolitan area. This opportunity would be well suited to an established sales agent who is looking to supplement their agency with additional brands.
You will be responsible for engaging with potential and existing clients to identify and fulfill their needs. You will manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, presenting solutions, and closing deals. The role also involves maintaining a high standard of customer service to build and sustain relationships, providing product knowledge, and participating in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Must have proven sales experience and skills, ideally in selling stationery or giftware to bookstores, gift stores and newsagencies
* Must have an established relationship with indepedent retailers across Melbourne, ideally bookstores, gift stores, newsagencies and stationery/fine writing speciality stores
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
