Our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience across the Microsoft Azure Data Platform to deliver high quality data and analytics solutions. This is a hands on role suited to someone who can design, build, and optimise modern data platforms while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Required Experience
* 5+ years' experience in data engineering, analytics, or data warehousing and role will be responsible for designing and delivering end to end data solutions, from ingestion through to analytics and BI, using modern Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies.
* Strong expertise in data warehousing and dimensional modelling
* Advanced experience with Power BI, SQL, and DAX
* Expert-level PySpark and SQL
* Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric (Spark & Pipelines)
* Solid understanding of lakehouse architectures and data platform frameworks
* Experience with Azure DevOps (repos, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines)
* Proven delivery of solutions handling large-scale / high-volume data
* Nice to Have experience using AI / LLMs in data engineering or analytics.
