Dawson's Garden World has been a successful Garden Centre for over 120 years. We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Garden Centre Manager to lead the team at our Swanbourne store. This exciting position would suit an experienced and motivated horticulturist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & experience
* Certificate II, III, or IV in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.
* At least 3+ years of experience in a retail garden centre, horticulture, nursery management, or a related field.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Direction of daily workflow and leadership for the Garden Centre team.
* Provide exceptional customer service, including offering recommendations and facilitating sales.
* Manage stock levels and coordinate purchasing to ensure adequate supply.
* Continuously assess the Garden Centres offerings in relation to market trends and customer needs to maintain a dynamic, innovative, and competitive edge.
* Maintain and merchandise stock to create visually appealing displays.
* Coordinating daily activities including rostering, delivery supervision, ordering, spraying and point of sale management.
