Kurri Kurri Community Service's Odyssey Home Modifications specialises in providing quality and innovative construction services and support products that help elderly and disabled customers to remain living in their own home.
About the Role
Based at Kurri Kurri Community Services Head Office, this role coordinates the pre‑construction and delivery stages of home modification and maintenance works. Admin now completes basic quoting, allowing this position to focus on complex estimating, contractor coordination, scheduling, WHS documentation and project workflows.
This is a part time role working 22.5 hours across three days (Tue–Thurs preferred), with scope to grow as workload increases.
Projects include ramps, rails, bathrooms, minor mods, repairs and safety improvements across NDIS, Aged Care, Insurance and Private sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare estimates and quotes for modification projects
* Schedule contractors and manage job timelines
* Coordinate WHS documentation and ensure compliance
* Liaise with participants, families, OTs, suppliers and subcontractors
* Raise purchase orders and support procurement
* Maintain accurate records in ASCORA and internal systems
* Assist with general office duties when required
What You'll Need
* Trade background or residential construction experience
* Skills in estimating, quoting, scheduling or coordination
* Strong communication, administration and organisational abilities
* A professional but approachable communication style
* Knowledge of older homes/home modifications (desirable)
* Current Driver's Licence

* White Card and Asbestos Awareness
* Cleared Criminal History Check and WWCC
* NDIS Screening & Orientation module
* First Aid & CPR
* (Working at Heights desirable)
