We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused and analytically-minded Customer Data Enablement Lead to join our Personalization team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The Role You Could Play
The Customer Data Enablement Lead will work across multiple initiatives acting as the customer data SME, to ensure solutions are designed and implemented as effectively as possible. They will also work with the broader analytics and BI teams to implement agreed customer data solutions which deliver on MECCA’s ongoing Digital enablement and personalization roadmap. Working closely with relevant stakeholders and in alignment with agreed patterns and enterprise architecture, the role will provide oversight and lead end to end delivery with data engineer and analyst resources.
The Customer Data Enablement Lead will utilize agile best practices and ensure that prioritized tasks are incrementally delivered, ensuring development roadblocks are clearly articulated and resolved in a timely manner.
Some of your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Lead the customer data enablement team to support projects and initiatives and be accountable for solution integrity
2. Work with our implementation partners and internal teams to propose solutions
3. Identify opportunities within our customer data and Martech platforms to help drive exceptional customer experience and value for the business
4. Lead business and engineering resources to ensure end to end project delivery
What You Will Bring
We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and well-versed in using it to transform customer interactions in marketing, sales and digital experience and familiar with marketing technology transformation, automation and process change within an organization. You will also have prior experience in managing a high performing team, capable of leading, motivating and developing team members.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
5. Experience in data architecture, data analysis and data integrations, preferably in retail
6. Exceptional SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets
7. Understanding and experience of ETL and data structures, data modelling data warehousing, and data marts
8. Understanding and experience using and implementing Marketing Technology stack to drive engagement and personalization benefits
9. Exposure to web analytics, CRM platforms and other marketing systems (Email Platforms, CRM Systems, Campaign Management, Loyalty Engines, POS, GA, etc)
10. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Highly desirable
11. Experience with Postgres – Highly desirable
