Randstad is hiring skilled Diesel Fitters / Diesel Mechanics to join a small, professional team at our client's Tullamarine workshop consisting of about 7 skilled techs. This is a chance for a stable career working with specialized compressed air and power generation equipment. We need a hands‑on problem‑solver who values precision and wants to be part of a down to earth, but dynamic team.

You'll be part of a team of 7 specialists, focusing on detailed, high‑quality maintenance:
* Workshop Focus: Servicing, fault‑finding, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance, all done in‑house at Tullamarine.
* The Equipment: Working on industrial equipment, especially Diesel Generators and Air Compressors (experience here is a huge bonus).
* Your Toolkit: Applying your strong skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* The Goal: Installation, complex repairs, and ensuring maximum runtime for client equipment.
This is what matters a consistent schedule with excellent compensation:
* Pay Rate: $40.00 to $52.00 per hour +Overtime + Super (based on your experience).
* Roster: Straight Day Shift, Monday to Friday.
* Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Get your 38 hours done and have your evenings guaranteed.

What you would need.
You must be able to prove:
* A recognised Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic/ Diesel Fitter / Mechanical Fitter (Cert III in Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent).
* Genuine, hands‑on experience with complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* A mindset for problem‑solving and excellent attention to detail.
