Join one of Australia's most iconic food manufacturers and lead a high-performing team at our Capalaba site. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to lead our Capalaba manufacturing site. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including production, warehousing, distribution, safety, quality and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 130 employees across production, maintenance and distribution to deliver on-time, high-quality products
* Champion a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement
* Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, cost control and process optimisation
* Partner with HSE and QA teams to ensure compliance and best-in-class standards
* Support the delivery of new products and commercial initiatives in collaboration with marketing and sales
* Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, succession planning and performance management
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Manufacturing, Engineering or a related discipline
* 5+ years' experience in senior manufacturing leadership roles within FMCG food manufacturing will be highly regarded
* Proven ability to lead large teams and drive cultural and operational change
* Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, GMP and safe work practices
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
* A passion for continuous improvement and delivering results
