The Opportunity
Due to continued growth within our Managed Services division, we are looking for a Senior Managed Services Engineer / Senior Cloud Services Engineer to join our team. This is a hands‐on, senior technical role supporting complex Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid enterprise environments. You will act as a high‐level escalation point, contribute to project delivery and work closely with customers and internal teams to maintain stable, secure and well‐architected platforms. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys deep technical work, variety across BAU and projects, and being a trusted technical advisor—without people‐management responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing
Senior Technical Support & Escalations
* Act as a Level 3/4 escalation point across Managed Services customers
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex, multi‐layered issues
* Provide clear root‐cause analysis and preventative recommendations
* Support high‐priority incidents with a calm, outcome‐focused approach
* Design, support and optimise solutions across: Azure IaaS and PaaS workloads, Hybrid identity, security and access controls
* Advise customers on best‐practice architecture, performance and security
* Support Intune and endpoint management where required
DevOps & Automation
* Contribute to Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
* Support Infrastructure‐as‐Code and automation initiatives
* Use PowerShell and scripting to improve operational efficiency
Project Delivery
* Deliver senior technical input on projects including: Cloud and tenant migrations, Platform modernisation initiatives, Security uplift and optimisation work
* Own technical execution, documentation and handover into BAU
* Identify recurring issues and service improvement opportunities
* Produce and maintain high‐quality documentation and runbooks
* Act as a technical mentor and knowledge resource for mid‐level engineers

* Not a purely strategic or governance position. This role is focused on hands‐on technical delivery and customer outcomes.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a senior technical role within an MSP or Managed Services
* Strong hands‐on expertise across Microsoft 365 and Azure
* Solid experience supporting enterprise‐scale customers
* Strong PowerShell and automation skills
* Experience across both BAU support and project delivery
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‐engagement skills
Highly Regarded
* Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
* Security tooling (Defender, Conditional Access, Zero Trust concepts)
* Exposure to technical pre‐sales or solution design workshops
Certifications (Highly Beneficial)
* Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ‐104, AZ‐204, AZ‐305, AZ‐400)
* ITIL Foundation or higher
