We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team responsible for the maintenance of the Gold Coast Light Rail fleet. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance activities, fault-finding and corrective maintenance, processing work orders and entering data in to SAP/GSI, driving safety, quality, governance and ensuring all relevant processes are followed.
Responsibilities
* Performing scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of rail vehicles
* Identifying and rectifying faults to minimize downtime and maximize service delivery
* Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth operation of the rail network
* Implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
* Participating in rotating shifts (day and afternoon) and on-call roster
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in maintenance operations, ideally within Rail or similar industry
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Certificate III in Engineering Trade (Mechanical)
* A team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* The ability to participate in a rotating roster and on-call roster
