Job Overview:
The Landscape Maintenance Gardener is responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of outdoor spaces through a variety of tasks, including garden maintenance, new garden installations, soil preparation and planting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Garden Maintenance Duties:
o Trimming, weeding, site clean-up, pest control/management
o Laying turf, trimming hedges, removing weeds and debris
* New Garden Installation:
o Designing and implementing new gardens, including selecting plants and materials
o Excavating and preparing soil for new garden beds
* Soil Preparation:
o Digging out and replacing old or damaged soil
o Preparing soil for new plantings
* Planting:
o Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants
o Watering and maintaining newly planted areas
Requirements:
* Herbicide License (desirable)
* White Card
* Experience in gardening or labouring (desirable)
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Motivated positive attitude with a proactive approach
* Clean and current Driver's license (essential)
