About the Company
JD Ross have partnered with a Global Energy Retailer at the forefront of the energy transition. They provide energy solutions and generate opportunities to maximise the value of energy generation. They offer generation technology and energy optimisation services.
They are currently looking to add a Strategic Sales Manager to drive strategic customer acquisition across Australia's east coast by originating, negotiating, and securing electricity retail contracts with C&I customers. This role will shape a high‐value pipeline aligned to the business' portfolio and risk strategy, helping maximise long‐term gross margin and customer value.
About the Role
* Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of strategic C&I prospects aligned to portfolio needs, pricing strategy, and risk appetite.
* Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and deal closure.
* Collaborate closely with Trading, Origination, and Pricing teams to structure commercially viable offers.
* Contribute to customer segmentation, targeting strategies, and pricing development.
* Maintain strong relationships with consultants, brokers, and direct customers.
About You
* Proven track record of success in B2B energy retail sales or large-scale solution selling in a complex commercial environment.
* Demonstrated experience managing full sales cycles – from pipeline prospecting to contract execution.
* Exposure to structured energy products, retail contracts, and wholesale markets.
* Understanding of market regulations and compliance considerations in energy retail.
* Familiarity with electricity pricing, risk, and portfolio management principles.
