About the Role
WorkPac are seeking a trusted and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support corporate and operational teams.
This role combines hands-on HR advisory, recruitment delivery, and remuneration support.
You will work closely with leaders, providing guidance across employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely HR guidance across policies, procedures, Fair Work obligations, Awards, and employment legislation
Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including job ads, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding
Support employee lifecycle initiatives, including workforce planning, organisational development, and remuneration reviews
Conduct remuneration benchmarking and support pay structures, benefits, and award compliance
Assist with payroll queries relating to conditions of employment, allowances, and compliance
Prepare HR reporting and maintain currency on policies, procedures, and legislative changes
Support employee relations matters ensuring fair, respectful, and legally compliant outcomes
Skills and Experience Required
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Minimum 4 years HR experience, preferably in civil, construction, or mining industries
Strong understanding of Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards, and employment compliance requirements
Confident in award interpretation and advising on rostering, site penalties, and allowances
Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels
Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Solutions-focused with a commitment to high-quality HR service delivery
Minimum two years industry-specific experience in Australia
