Grounds Maintenance Professional
This role is centered around the upkeep and maintenance of various public and behind-the-scenes areas at the park, with a focus on groundskeeping, gardening, minor repairs, and proactive maintenance.
* Maintain lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, pathways, and visitor spaces to a clean, safe, and high standard.
* Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools, machinery, and vehicles.
* Remove waste and recycling from public and behind-the-scenes areas.
* Support the upkeep of animal enclosures and surrounds.
* Assist with event and seasonal set-up and pack-down.
Your Responsibilities
You will be working closely with other teams to ensure all areas of the park are maintained at a high level. Your physical health and fitness will also play a significant role in your ability to perform the duties of this position.
Requirements
* A Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Horticulture.
* Certificate in Chainsaw Operation or equivalent qualification.
* Completion of AusChem WA Risk Management in Pesticide Use or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
