About the Aquatics Captain Role
The Aquatics Captain plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication with parents and guardians, while maintaining safe and well-presented aquatic facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership: The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day delivery of Learn to Swim and recreational aquatic programs, ensuring consistency and quality across all aspects.
2. Teaching Quality: Maintaining an exceptional experience for our customers is paramount; the Aquatics Captain must ensure teaching quality, program consistency, and safety practices are upheld at all times.
3. Staff Support: Providing feedback on teaching quality, consistency, and safety practices is crucial, as well as assisting with onboarding and mentoring new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed.
4. Safety and Operational Compliance: The Aquatics Captain is responsible for monitoring safe behaviour on pool deck and ensuring staff adhere to centre policies and supervision requirements.
