We are seeking an experienced Stock & Inventory Controller with strong warehouse, logistics, and inventory management experience to join our team at Brisbane Airport. This is a Monday-Friday role, with occasional weekend work, paid at enhanced weekend rates. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure stock accuracy, support warehouse operations, and contribute to continuous improvement across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate inventory records for all airline and Gate Gourmet materials.
* Monitor warehouse stock levels, manage reorder points, and organise timely replenishment.
* Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting issues as required.
* Support the Account Management team with accurate and timely stock information.
* Create and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve logistics issues.
* Conduct stocktakes, physical counts, and reconcile system data with actual stock.
* Process and approve 3PL receipts and manage inbound/outbound warehouse movements.
* Manage returns in accordance with warehouse procedures.
* Perform warehouse administration duties including data entry, phone support, and customer assistance.
* Coordinate freight bookings via TOLL or Agility for goods moving to various ports.
* Prepare Customs documentation for international stock transfers.
* Conduct 5S audits to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
* Lead shift briefings and support daily warehouse communication.
* Create CP transfers with our outsourced logistics partner, Agility.
* Collaborate with the CSM and internal stakeholders to support operational performance.
About You
* Strong warehouse or logistics background, ideally in a food or FMCG environment.
* Experience working in a bonded warehouse is highly desirable.
* Solid knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
* Forklift licence highly desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong planning, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
