Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead and support a multi-disciplinary Aged Care assessment team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and inspiring a team of Aged Care Assessors who provide face-to-face assessments with older Australians in their homes.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a dynamic team of Aged Care Assessors to achieve high performance and quality targets.
* Engage with various stakeholders, including clients, internal and external teams, to ensure the best possible assessment outcomes.
* Maintain a high level of computer literacy and ability to navigate online systems and platforms.
* Travel within your region to conduct assessments and maintain skills.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in aged care, community or health related position.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work, speech therapy, dietetics or exercise physiology.
* Current unrestricted general registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or other disciplinary specific regulatory bodies.
* Ability to connect with, manage and develop staff to achieve high performance and build a positive culture with remote teams.
