Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Rooms Division Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
In this senior operational role, you’ll oversee multiple accommodation areas across Zone 3, including the Outback Hotel & Lodge, Residents Club, Contractors Village, Berry Road Accommodation Village, Ayers Rock Resort Campground and Coach Campground. We’re seeking an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in a multi‑site environment, drives service excellence and builds strong, high‑performing teams.
Who We're Seeking
We’re looking for a seasoned hotel or resort operations leader with strong Rooms Division experience and the capability to manage multiple properties and diverse teams. The ideal candidate will bring:
* 3–5 years’ operational management experience in hotels, resorts or campground environments, ideally multi‑property or multi‑department.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing Department Heads or Supervisors (e.g., FOH, Housekeeping, Accommodation)
* Expertise in rostering, labour management and Award/EA interpretation.
* Sound understanding of housekeeping, front office, accommodation standards and guest service excellence
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets, labour costs and operational reporting
Key Duties
* Oversee daily operations of the Rooms Division across all Zone 3 properties, ensuring seamless coordination and consistent service standards.
* Lead, support and coach Department Heads across Front Office, Housekeeping and Accommodation.
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, campground facilities and grounds to maintain presentation and compliance standards.
* Manage rostering and workforce planning aligned with occupancy, budget parameters and operational needs.
* Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to service issues, and drive a strong service‑first culture.
