Job Title: Counsellor
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Counsellor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based clinical interventions and coordinating care for young people aged 12-25 in a Community Controlled Health Service.
Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families and carers, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Clinical Interventions: Implement evidence-based clinical interventions to address the mental health and wellbeing needs of clients.
* Care Coordination: Coordinate care for clients with complex difficulties, working closely with other healthcare professionals and community agencies.
* Professional Supervision: Provide professional clinical supervision to staff and students, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
* General registration as a Counsellor.
* Current membership of the Australian Counselling Association or equivalent.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working partnerships with diverse communities and other stakeholders.
