About The Opportunity

The successful candidate will provide clerical and administrative support for the revenue functions of the council, including sundry debtors, rates, and water billing, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
To Succeed In This Role You Will Have
* Minimum Certificate III qualifications in a related field or a minimum of 2 years experience in a financial position.
* Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines both individually and as part of a team.
* Excellent data entry and keyboard skills with a high level of accuracy.
On a Typical Day This Role Will
* Assist in processing and maintaining water, rates, and sundry debtors accounts.
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Review and respond to customer inquiries regarding water, rates, and sundry debtor accounts.
Remuneration And Benefits
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, 35 hours per week.
Salary (excluding super): Starting at $1,238.28 per week with opportunities for competency-based progression.
