Prosecution and Community Services Role
Community safety and rehabilitation are key components of this role. As a skilled officer, you will contribute to these goals by conducting assessments, facilitating order variations, and providing high-quality advice to the judiciary.
Responsibilities Include:
• Conducting court assessments to determine suitability for orders
• Facilitating variation or cancellation of orders
• Prosecuting individuals who fail to comply with orders
• Providing evidence-based advice on sentencing and offender interventions
• Liaising with stakeholders to deliver optimal outcomes for individuals and the community
Required Skills And Qualifications:
• Experience in court processes, prosecutions, or related areas
• Ability to provide human services in needs assessment and development of interventions
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Capability to manage challenging behaviors
• Relevant qualification in social work, law, human services, criminal justice, or criminology is desirable
