If you possess these skills, this could be your opportunity to shape the future with us.Live and work on the beautiful Central Coast of NSWWork in a dynamic, service-focused teamTool of trade vehicle availableAbout the roleThe Telemetry and Instrumentation Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining the Council's Water and Sewer electronic infrastructure, instrumentation, and control systems.You will perform complex troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of communication and networking equipment; instrumentation and control equipment; digital radio and microwave service equipment; and SCADA and Telemetry systems to support water and sewerage automation networks.This position emphasizes providing quality customer service and creating value for the community.To be successful, you will have:A Diploma of Electrical Engineering or Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation & Control, or demonstrated equivalent qualification with relevant experience.A current NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence.A current Class C Drivers Licence.A valid Construction - General Induction Card - NSW WorkSafe or equivalent.A current Safe Working at Heights qualification or willingness to obtain it.Other important informationThe salary range for this position is between $85.8k - $103k, plus 11.5% superannuation, plus a $18.92 per week working allowance.This is a permanent full-time role.Access to a 9-day fortnight.Location: Erina Works Depot.Successful candidates must be vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus.Shortlisted candidates will undergo and pass a Confined Spaces medical.Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilize it to fill other vacancies.Extra benefitsWe offer a range of benefits to support work-life balance, including Fitness Passports, wellbeing leave, and an Employee Assistance Program.
