Estimator
Bennco Group seeks an Estimator to estimate and tender on mining construction works across the Pilbara and remote WA.
Role Requirements
* Experience with tendering processes from preparation, analysis, submission and clarifications
* Prepare detailed and competitive tender estimates, budgets, cost plans, and take-offs
* Collaborate with design teams, clients, and delivery teams to ensure tender alignment across all project phases
* Ensure effective handover of awarded tenders to Operations and ongoing communication with clients
* Proven experience in tendering and estimating for mining, building and construction projects
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Identify and manage cost-specific risks, opportunities, and value management strategies
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and WA market rates
* Strong subcontractor and supplier engagement skills
* High level of commercial acumen and contract knowledge
About you
* Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred)
* Minimum 3 years estimating experience within the construction sector or similar
* Strong understanding of construction techniques and market conditions
* Proficiency in estimating software such as Simpro, Procore, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
* Proficiency in client platforms such as Ariba, Aconex & EstimateOne (desirable)
* Exceptional communication, time management and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to 'think outside the box' and deliver results in high-pressure environments and work both autonomously and collaboratively
