Heavy Vehicle Operator Opportunity
The ideal candidate will operate a modern combination of vehicles, perform daily vehicle checks, manage mass limits, and ensure all loads are delivered on time and to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
* Safely transport materials across various locations in Adelaide and regional areas.
* Complete accurate delivery records and paperwork.
* Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Hazardous Materials (HC) licence; Medium Combination (MC) preferred.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in operating tipper trucks; experience with pneumatic tankers advantageous.
* Demonstrated safe driving history.
* Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and mass management principles.
* Effective communication and customer service skills.
* Familiarity with quarry and bulk materials operations.
