Boral is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented Quarry Support Manager to join the leadership team to support a portfolio of our QLD & NT Quarries. The role is open to be based in any QLD location but will involve extensive regional travel. The focus is to ensure we have the skilled resources, plant, and equipment available to deliver product on time and to quality standards. A strong safety focus and absolute commitment to Zero Harm is critical to the success of our business.
Please note SSE plus 20 certification is essential for this position.
Your day will involve:
* Driving a Zero Harm culture across the QLD region to ensure that Boral Quarry Operations meet all safety, environmental and legislative requirements.
* Working closely with the Quarry Management teams to deliver major revenue projects including procuring mobile plant and contract crushing resources.
* Supporting Quarry operations in delivering capital projects and upgrades.
* Supporting continuous improvement activities across the Quarry business.
* Co‑ordinating training activity and Trainer/Assessor resources.
What are we looking for?
* Experience in quarrying or project management, ideally in mining or construction materials.
* Proven track record of managing large projects and cross‑functional teams.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project.
* Safety and environmental leadership with a focus on Zero Harm culture.
* Full Driver's Licence – this role will involve extensive regional QLD travel; a TOT vehicle will be supplied.
