Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team for the Landmark Water Security Project in NSW.
This project involves a major infrastructure upgrade aiming to secure long-term water supply for communities in Central West NSW.
The selected candidate will work closely with a skilled and efficient team, gaining continuous project exposure that will further develop their technical and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate cost-effective construction methodologies and identify areas for improvement.
* Monitor project finances and track costs against budget.
* Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and teams to resolve technical, commercial, and scheduling issues.
* Understand project scope and identify contractual risks and opportunities.
* Prepare variations, claims, and subcontract agreements.
* Plan procurement activities and organise labour and equipment for supervisors.
* Ensure materials and services meet quality assurance requirements.
* Develop ITPs/ITCs, monitor quality plans, and ensure compliance.
* Assess risks, implement hazard controls, and support incident investigations.
* Promote a strong safety culture through pre-starts and toolbox talks.
* Review CEMP and environmental procedures before work begins.
* Maintain QA documentation and manage project closeout.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* 4+ years of experience in project management within the Construction Industry (Civil, Utilities, and Water Infrastructure projects desirable).
* Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels and other stakeholders as required.
* Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.
* Pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
