Gallagher Bassett is Australia's largest Third-Party Administrator. We manage insurance claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured corporations.
We have six offices in Australia located in Northern Territory, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, employing over 1700 staff.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage inbound calls and respond to general enquiries
* Handle Motor and Property claims from start to finish
* Deal with complex claims and IDR processes
* Apply policy wordings accurately
* Liaise with various third-party providers
* Settle claims according to client instructions and company guidelines
* Attend client meetings where applicable
* Meet monthly KPIs as designated by management
* Resolve complaints according to company guidelines
* Identify potential fraud or recovery indicators for claims where applicable
* Process payment approvals
* Train and mentor claims consultants within the team
* Support quality assurance requirements through regular file audits of colleagues
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in Claims handling, specifically in Motor and Property claims
* Industry specific ANZIIF qualifications are desirable
* Customer-focused mindset with excellent negotiation skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Proficient in Database and Microsoft Office
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Ability to coach and mentor fellow peers
