AirFab is seeking to employ a qualified mechanical engineer with specific experience with fume and dust control systems
Candidates must have a minimum 5 years of experience with fume and dust control systems working for contracting/installation companies
A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
Experience in project management would be an advantage.
We are a West Australian owned mechanical contractor performing systems for DOE, DOF, contractors, builders, mine sites and client direct.
This is an opportunity to be on the ground floor growing the business.
The role initially would be.
* Designing and estimating dust collection systems including volume calcs and pressure drops.
* Designing and estimating fume exhaust systems for welding bays and workshop ventilation system systems including volume calcs and pressure drop.
* Site inspections to develop a Scope of works for the above.
* Providing take offs of all items including ductwork
* Providing drawing packs for draftsman to develop working drawings for projects.
* Procurement assistance
* Managing minor works kick-offs to hand over to the project teams.
* Company Systems training and mentoring will be provided.
