Speak to our Talent Acquisition or People & Culture team to learn more.What's on offer?As part of supporting the growing Fulton Hogan business operations, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Network Systems Engineer to join our Australian IT team based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelade on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The key elements of this role will enable you to plan, design, implement, support, and maintain IT network and communications infrastructure across a number of sites.You will work alongside an IT team that supports the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure and business systems.
You will work with both internal subject matter experts and external partners that work closely together as a virtual team, to deliver the right infrastructure network outcomes for the Fulton Hogan Group.An important component of this position is to actively engage with the business and so, regular interstate travel is a key component of this role.Some of your key accountabilities will be:Understand and maintain a wide view of Fulton Hogan's IS/IT systems and infrastructure.
Review and analyse improvements to existing IS/IT Infrastructure, processes and procedures.Evaluate, design and implement IS/IT infrastructure solutions.Support delivery of Fulton Hogan continuous improvement program.Conduct onsite visits (Scheduled/Unscheduled) to provide direct support where required.Ensure that all set SLA times for incident and problem resolution are met along with maintaining and improving customer satisfaction levels: Onsite and/or Remote.Resolve key incidents and service outages to ensure efficient and effective service restoration.How will you connect to the role?You will bring extensive knowledge and experience with network infrastructure, specifically in Switch and Wireless technologies, along with a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
Industry certifications, such as Cisco or CompTIA Network+, are highly desirable.
Your expertise in change management within an Enterprise environment and strong documentation skills will ensure your success.
