Project Director - Commercial Builder

The Role
As Project Director, you will take ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects across NSW, ensuring outcomes are achieved efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide strategic and technical leadership across project teams, while fostering collaboration and accountability.
This role also plays a key part in developing client relationships, supporting business development initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee delivery of all projects across NSW, ensuring performance, safety, and quality outcomes are achieved.
* Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring to project teams, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
* Develop and implement strategic initiatives to strengthen business capability and client trust.
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Manage stakeholder engagement, acting as the primary client contact across all projects.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement across project delivery.
Required Experience:
* Minimum 6 years' experience in Project Management / Senior Project Management / Project Director, or leadership roles working for a head contractor
* Proven experience delivering large-scale, technically complex commercial construction projects valued $40M+
* Strong track record leading diverse project teams and driving performance outcomes.
* Excellent client and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
* High-level financial literacy, contract knowledge, and project controls expertise.
