The Company & Site
You'll be joining a leading mining operation known for investing in people and retaining skilled trades with site benefits such including:

The Role & Duties
In this role, you'll work within a skilled maintenance team, supporting the performance and reliability of a modern underground fleet.
* Servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across heavy mobile plant and mining machinery.
* Attending breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance.
* Component change-outs and fault-finding on mechanical and some hydraulic systems.
* Hands-on exposure to OEM equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet, and Elphinstone.
Travel & Roster
This role offers a structured yet flexible work schedule with the following:
* FIFO from Cairns with charter flights provided.
* Short bus transfer from the airport to site.
* 8:6 roster across days and nights with 12-hour shifts
* Full camp accommodation and meals included.
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful within this role and hit the ground running you will need to have the following:
* Heavy diesel trade qualification in Cert III or equivalent.
* Experience working on heavy equipment e.g. earthmoving, agricultural or civil.
* Open cut or underground mining experience is highly regarded.
* Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team.
* Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance.
