About the Role
This is a Fixed term Full Time and Part Time opportunity within the EMR & Digital Innovation Team and one Full Time opportunity in the Mental Health Team.
We are recruiting two Digital Innovation Analysts to ensure continuity of critical digital operations at The Royal Children's Hospital. This recruitment will replace:
* Two 1.0 FTE role concluding at the end of November
* One 0.4 FTE role concluding at the end of December
There is flexibility to redistribute the workload across the three roles (for example, 0.8 FTE and 0.6 FTE) depending on operational requirements and candidate availability.
You will be responsible for designing, building, testing and implementing improvements to the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) that support clinical workflows and patient care outcomes. You will work collaboratively with clinicians, subject matter experts and ICT colleagues to deliver continuous EMR improvements aligned to the Digital Innovation Plan.
For the mental health department:
We are seeking a suitably skilled Digital Innovation Analyst to provide dedicated mental health digital capability and support the delivery of funded mental health EMR and digital innovation initiatives at The Royal Children's Hospital
Classification for these roles are AO Grade 7 Level 1 - Level 5 (AO71-AO75), $111,103.20 - $121,274.40 Per Annum, pro-rated, excluding superannuation, excluding salary packaging.
What you'll achieve
* Analyse clinical workflows, enhancement requests and technical issues to develop effective EMR solutions
* Configure, build, test and maintain EMR functionality to ensure systems are current, stable and well maintained
* Design and implement EMR improvements that enhance clinical usability and patient care delivery
* Provide advice and guidance on new system build and enhancements across the Digital Innovation Team
* Communicate solution options clearly with stakeholders and agree on a way forward
Your skills and experience
* Tertiary qualification in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
* Experience using and supporting an Electronic Medical Record system in a healthcare setting
* Demonstrated understanding of hospital clinical workflows; strong end‐user proficiency is highly regarded
* Proven ability to build strong working relationships with clinical and technical stakeholders
* Ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences
Other requirements
* Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Compliance with RCHs "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure
