Location: Melbourne Employment Type: Contract, paying $**** a day Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced TIBCO BW (Business Works) Consultant to join an experienced Integration Team and support the installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of TIBCO-based integration solutions across multiple environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience across the TIBCO suite, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Install and configure TIBCO products across Development, Train, Testing, and Production environments, including (but not limited to): BusinessWorks EMS Runtime Agent TIBCO Enterprise Administration (TEA) TIBCO FTL Hawk Implement runtime configuration packages for TIBCO BusinessWorks in alignment with architectural guidelines and standards.
Configure and manage environment setup to support BusinessWorks applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with security requirements.
Set up and manage SSL/TLS certificates to enable secure communication between system components.
Handle deployment management, including versioning strategies, rollbacks, and troubleshooting of deployment issues.
Conduct Linux system administration tasks related to TIBCO environments.
Manage code and configuration in Bitbucket and Sourcetree, ensuring proper source control practices.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational and deployment activities.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues across the integration platform.
Skills Experience Required Strong hands-on experience with the TIBCO suite: BusinessWorks, EMS, Runtime Agent, TEA, FTL, Hawk.
Proven ability in TIBCO installation, configuration, and deployment .
Linux administration experience.
Knowledge of networking and security, including SSL/TLS, ports, firewalls, and secure communication.
Experience with deployment management, version control, and rollback procedures.
Proficiency with Bitbucket, Sourcetree, and general Git workflows.
Practical scripting skills (Shell, Bash, or similar).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Deliverables End-to-end environment configuration for BusinessWorks applications.
Implementation of runtime configuration packages for TIBCO BusinessWorks.
Production-ready TIBCO installations aligned to enterprise standards.
Secure and fully documented integration environments with controlled deployments.
