Overview
Site Manager - Multistorey Commercial Build at Design Build. An experienced Site Manager is sought to oversee commercial new build projects. The project is a multistorey commercial build on the Gold Coast valued at $50M, with a strong pipeline of future projects and a supportive work culture.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of the build.
* Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
* Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
* Manage and optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently.
* Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site records, project look-aheads, and safety records.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on multistorey commercial build projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
* Sound understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* QBCC license
