Overview
Our client, a leading animation studio in Sydney, is seeking a Pipeline Head of Department (HoD) to provide strategic, technical, and people leadership across their end‑to‑end production pipeline. This role will guide the evolution of studio workflows for animation, VFX, and real‑time/games content, including the integration of emerging AI and machine learning tools where appropriate.
The Pipeline HoD will shape the technical direction of the studio, partner closely with Supervisors, Production, and Department Leads, and ensure that artists and teams have robust, efficient, scalable tools to deliver world‑class work.
The studio welcomes applicants from VFX, animation, or games/real‑time backgrounds and strongly values candidates who are curious, collaborative, and excited about the future of production technology.
Remote applicants across Australia—and potentially from key regional time zones—are encouraged to apply.
