About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank as the Food & Beverage Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all food and beverage operations for the hotel, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth. The role is based in the heart of Melbourne VIC 3000.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the day to day operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar and in-room dining
* Develop and implement strategies to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction
* Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing food and beverage team
* Oversee inventory management, and cost control
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
* Collaborate with the hotel management team to drive the overall business strategy
* Monitor market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably within a hotel environment
* Proven track record of leading and developing successful food and beverage teams
* Passion for creating memorable dining experiences and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
* Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyse data and implement cost-effective strategies
