Day to Day Responsibilities
You will focus on supporting a team that educates clients on risk and insurance products, submits, brokes business, presents, and closes opportunities and services accounts. Key responsibilities include:
* Manage a Small Business Insurance portfolio of new and existing clients
* Achieve personal and team revenue targets within identified markets – working to clear KPIs and targets across Acquisition and Retention
* Research the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environment
* Negotiate new and renewal terms with underwriters
* Partner with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to exceed client expectations
* Multi‐task while navigating a range of technologies
* Collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues across the team and business
* Work within company policy, compliance, laws and regulations
* Participate in training and coaching sessions to develop technical knowledge
* Support all aspects of high‐volume quotations, inbound/outbound calls, emails and Salesforce leads
* Interface with prospects through several channels, such as Salesforce, and inbound and outbound phone calls
Qualifications
Experience and skills that will lead to success include:
* Experience across Insurance Broking
* Experience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targets and KPIs
* Experience in Insurance and Claims or in Financial Services servicing clients
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to tackle problems creatively and show initiative
* Possess a zest for learning and ability to make sense of information and learn systems and technologies at speed
* Sales attitude and ability to make a connection with clients
* Tier 1 accreditation or Insurance Broking qualifications
