The Team
The team develops low latency, scalable, and resilient solutions that support global equities trading.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Own the production environment.
* Develop and support a configuration, resource allocation, and deployment system for the electronic trading platform.
* Enhance or implement production support tooling and release management.
* Apply knowledge of core technology and infrastructure (tooling, testing, automation, monitoring) to reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
* Provide critical day‐to‐day production support, incident and crisis management with in‐depth technical expertise.
* Manage system health proactively through monitoring, alerting provisioning, and capacity management.
* Collaborate with the Asia‐Pac team and global counterparts on local and global initiatives.
Essential Skills
* Strong development experience in a programming language such as Java or C++.
* Proficient in Python, shell scripts, and SQL.
* Proficient in Unix; in‐depth knowledge and experience supporting applications in Linux or Unix environments.
* Solid knowledge of the software development life‐cycle (SDLC) from analysis through release.
* Experience with orchestration tools including Gradle, Git, Confluence, or JIRA.
* Strong analytical skills for problem solving and communication.
* Ability to handle multiple assignments and work independently under pressure.
Preferred Skills
* Previous experience supporting electronic trading environments.
